Blue Phlox - uniform version in Pure Solids
With this uniform sample of Blue Phlox, we officially reached the end of our two year recoloring project to solids! Over time, we have moved all our cover samples to solid fabrics in an effort to maximize their versatility, and Blue Phlox was the final sample to be sewn, and we couldn't have asked for a more fun combination of colors and pattern to work with.
This is the uniform version of Blue Phlox, a beginner friendly pattern with five sizes and an additional scrappy mix-and-match version as well. We used our two favorite colors from the scrappy version - Rebecca's favorite plum and Cait's most loved grapefruit color!

We found this Ruby Star wide back that had all the vibrant colors from the front - Washi Tape Plus - and were able to use it to back both samples side by side on the long-arm.

Cait - tired of all the stippling from our Amaryllis sprint before the first spring quilt show - quilted this with a lovely flowing cloud panto stencil from Hancy Creations.

The orange cat squad came out to help Cait put the finishing touches on it.

Now that the solids recoloring project is done, we have to decide what we're going to do next....mwah ha ha - we've been freed up to design new quilts this year!
Happy sewing,
Rebecca and Cait
