Snowfall Stockings - three pattern versions

It's hard to think of these stockings as "new" to The June Thimble. We designed and made them for a local craft market last year, patterned the design over the late winter/spring, and then sneaky released the pattern at our summer Ohio quilt shows without the online splash we normally do for debuts! They've been a favorite among our local customers and shop owners, and now that the holiday season is around the corner we're excited to finally make the splash this pattern deserves!

This pattern was designed for six individual stockings...simply because that's how many are in Cait's family! But what's really fun and unique about this pattern is you can mix and match the blocks. Pick one for each family member, or even make all the stockings match if you have a favorite.

We went out of our way to make the construction as simple as possible while maintaining enclosed seams and a professional finish. The blocks finish at 6" - if you want to change them up with your own block (or fussy cut fabric!) it's an easy alteration that requires no extra math.

We really love how you can take the stockings from stark and modern to cozy and classic by simply varying the color choices - we adore the black and white versions just as much as the red and green!

We can't wait to see what you all make with this pattern - we love it when people share their photos with us!

Happy sewing!
