Grow Wild - pink and green version

Grow Wild has become one of my favorite baby quilts to make - many of my dear friends and family have received one with all the best wishes for their new babies. This sweet quilt was made for my sister and their first baby, so it's extra special to me.

I had just enough of the Rifle Paper Co Garden Party floral fabric for backing, and ultimately that's where I started - a bit backwards! I pulled from my stash of blenders and florals to coordinate with the pinks, gold, and greens of the Rifle print.

Moda Bella Solid in Blush for the background and Rifle Paper Co Basic in Blush Tapestry Lace Floral for the sashing pulled it all together. (The RPC Basics are so good!)

I quilted it with straight lines and added chunky hand quilted accent stitches before hand-stitching the binding down for a change. It's going to be a perfect summer park quilt!

Happy sewing!
