Grow Wild - Maple version

This quilt was sort of an accident - I had stashed a jelly roll of Maple by Gabriele Neil for Riley Blake Designs when it was on sale. I had visions of something fun to work on this fall when I bought it. But then when I was working on getting Grow Wild to be an upcoming feature and I was tired of computer work so...I got itchy and as Cait can attest when I get itchy quilts appear like magic and this one was no different, it practically made itself!

Well, I finished it in a weekend anyway.

This quilt has classic, lovely fall prints and colors. Kona burgundy is the accent and binding fabric and RBD Confetti Cottons in Cloud is the background.

Backed with Shannon Cuddle minky in Cedarwood and quilted in freehand-ish circles - we're learning here, it's ok! This was another practice quilt on our new longarm.

This is the FIFTH Grow Wild I've made! It's a really fun pattern that comes together quickly and simply. This version is the throw size - it fits nicely as an accent blanket on my daughter's twin bed.

Happy sewing!
