Grow Wild - Foxglove version
The first iteration of Grow Wild was for my dear friend's second babe. And let me tell you...this quilt didn't want to be made.
I had a toddler and an infant myself, so of course no matter how many times I did the math, things just weren't adding up. If you look closely, the navy accent fabric is a taaaaad larger than the pattern ended up being. I just had to make my peace with that.
Frustrations aside, I ended up absolutely loving the end result - this fabric line stole my heart years ago. The bold and saturated colors, the teensy foxes throughout, and florals...all so fun and pretty!
By request, it got a cotton back - perfect for throwing down at the park to watch his older sister play. I used Moda Chambray in black for the background and binding - it's such a colorful quilt it called for a simple binding to frame it.
My daughter thoroughly tested it before mailing it off. :) Baby approved.
Happy sewing!
